Manning River Ferry Service is proud to promote the Manning River region and support local businesses. Our ferry service and cruises connect passengers with local venues, restaurants, and suppliers, encouraging visitors to explore the local community and support local venues. We actively highlight the history of the river and ongoing recovery efforts from the 2025 floods, sharing the stories of resilience and renewal.

Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility

At Manning River Ferry Service, we are committed to protecting the natural environment of the Manning River. We did our research and purchase the latest eco-designed fuel-efficient engines and careful navigation practices help minimise emissions, and we travel at slow speeds to conserve fuel and reduce disturbance to the embankment of the river which also encourages wildlife to interact with the vessel. After every cruise, we carefully manage waste, ensuring all rubbish is disposed of responsibly. 

We also support local businesses and the community, particularly in the wake of the 2025 floods, by incorporating local venues into our cruises. This approach ensures our operations have a positive impact on both people and the environment.

Accessibility & Inclusive Tourism

Our vessel is designed to be accessible to all passengers. A lowering bow allows easy boarding for walkers and wheelchairs, and our team communicates clearly to ensure all passengers feel welcome. Safety is a priority, with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) approved life jackets and equipment on board.

Owners personally assist passengers as needed, providing guidance for any specific needs. Accessibility is a key part of our personalised, friendly service, ensuring river cruises are enjoyable and stress-free for everyone.
